1968 NL Game: Cin. @ NY Jones Homers 3 Times

July 28, 1968

Cincinnati's Mack Jones smashed 3 homeruns and had 7 RBI as the Red's defeated the New York Mets 7-3. Jones was a one man wrecking crew as he drove in all of Cincinnati's runs off Met's pitcher Tom Seaver.  Jones joined 2 others who have hit 3 homers in a game in this 1968 NL season, Hank Aaron and most recently Ron Santo. Only Jones and Santo have had 7 RBI in a game this year.
