I've finally reached the month of July in my 1968 AsPlayed Replay. Between vacations and 'life in general' I haven't spent much time playing SOM.
Anyway, my Detroit Tigers went on a torrid winning spree in June, going 26-5 in the month, and as a result Detroit has a 12.5 game lead over the 2nd place Baltimore Orioles. The next closed team, the Minnesota Twins, are 17 GB. The Tigers are scoring runs in droves, which is a surprise for the '68 season, and their pitching has been top notch for the most part. Detroit is 11 wins better than their Actual at this point in the '68 season. The Orioles are 7 Wins better than their Actual while most of the other teams are playing close to their real life pace.
