Hank Aaron cracked 3 homeruns and Jim Britton allowed 2 hits while blanking
Los Angeles as the Atlanta Braves beat the Los Angeles Dodgers by a score of
4 to 0.

Aaron punished Los Angeles with his bat. He cracked a solo homerun in the 3rd
inning, delivered a solo blast in the 6th inning and blasted a solo shot in
the 8th inning. Atlanta had 8 hits for the night.

Britton(5-0) was credited with the shutout. Don Drysdale(9-9) suffered the
loss. Lum Harris was asked about the performance of Britton, 'He had his
good stuff out there tonight. The fans really get into it when the
strikeouts start mounting up - and that seems to give him even more
adrenalin.'
