1968 Detroit Game: Denny McLain Start #10

May 25, 1968

  Denny McLain pitched another gem tonight as he out-dueled Lew Krausse of the Oakland A's. McLain scattered 8 hits and struck out 8 while shutting out the A's in Detroit's 1-0 victory. Norm Cash hit a homerun in the 7th inning and that would be all the scoring in the game. McLain threw his 2nd shutout in a row and extended his scoreless inning streak to 20.

Denny McLain tossed a complete game shutout as the Detroit Tigers defeated the
