Minnesota's Tony Oliva won the Batting Title in the AL this 1968 season. Detroit's Willie Horton won the Homerun Crown and RBI Title while also finishing 4th in Batting Average. Horton's teammates Denny McLain and Mickey Lolich finished 1,2 in Wins. Cleveland's Sam McDowell had the leagues best ERA and he shattered the 300 barrier in Strikeouts with 339. Oakland's Bert Campaneris swiped the most bases.
